Organizations
Flying clubs, FBOs, schools, and other small operators are at the heart
of general aviation. If you don't have a few million dollars to spend
on training programs, six-degree of freedom simulators, and high-priced
consultants, but you would still like to have a top-notch safety program,
perhaps we can be of some help.
There are a lot of documents that have been produced by various government
agencies to help improve the safety of small flying organizations. Below
you will a link to the Documents-for-Organizations page in our Publications
section. There you may find some documents obtained from the FAA, and
the Australian, British, and Canadian equivalents of the FAA. While you
may need to tailor some of the programs to make them applicable to your
specific situation, you may find some of their suggestions very helpful.

Human Factors Guide for Aviation Maintenance
The Electronic Human Factors Guide for Aviation Maintenance describes
fundamental human factors concepts and guidelines and provides practical,
useable guidance for supervisors and planners in the aviation maintenance
industry. This was produced in 1998 by several universities and research
organizations under contract to the FAA. For a current, complementary
source of information consult the HF
Skyways site. Unless noted otherwise, these materials are in the public
domain, and may be freely copied and distributed.
